Our war
1.I sensed a needle in my spine
And felt a laser in my eye,
Some had it way harder than I,
A needle shouldn’t make us cry.
2.My rights were torn like toilet paper
By a greedy manipulator,
By a damn human terminator,
Definition of a predator.
3.I woke up from a nasty dream
And now nothing is what it seemed,
Unseeing all that has been seen
Would resurrect my self-esteem.
4.Each generation had its war,
Ours is knocking on the door,
What are you even fighting for?
What do you fear, what you adore?
5.I never thought I would say this,
Unless it’s something that I miss,
This war we have looks like a bliss,
Unlike the past times we dismiss.
