Autumn melancholia

Ode to Summer

 1. My skin still smells like sunbeams and pool water
Goodbye summer, hello winter,
Go on and make my heart wither.

 2. Why cut your toenails when you mostly walk barefoot,
Goodbye summer, hello sorrow,
Cold rain hits me like an arrow.

 3. The nightmare of never fulfilling your dreams is not as bad as it seems
When the sun melts your melancholia
Into the sea where you spent your holiday,
But summer has moved away.

 4. Golden skin turns into scales and eyes lose their shine
Physical pain doesn't hurt as much as coldness
Summer, i'll be waiting for you,
My beloved Goddess.

Never trust politicians

Original quote:
"Do not pity the dead, Harry. Pity the living, and, above all those who live without love."
