R.A.P. time

 R.A.P.

You realize humanity hasn’t evolved so much,

Instead of weapons they use words, they kill without a touch,

You work your life in luxury inside a shop or bank,

But in the end it’s obvious it’s nothing but a tank.

It’s obvious communication’s never been so low,

When in the evening there is not a single soul you know

And all the others are small fish in a deep cold ocean,

But think they’re big when actually they lack the faintest notion.

There are places where if you dare display curiosity

They put you down, like who the fuck do you think you might be,

There are places so shiny that they seem the source of light,

But when you step inside, the only glow is the gaslight.

There are places so dark all you expect to hear is bats,

But watch your step, look down, so you don’t tread on all the rats,

There are places that teach so much, where I don’t wanna be,

I don’t have time for many thousands years of therapy.

There is enough for everybody

 Twisted flags at the horizon

1.Newspapers have

Become truthless,

Turn them into flames for the hopeless.

2.A pandemic

Kills like the Flood,

Not in some lands where the cure is food.

3.Humans became

So obsolete,

They can do better than click and repeat.

4.Office buildings

Became useless,

Just make them homes for the homeless.

5.With twisted flags

One can do more,

Like sewing clothes, than waging a war.

Changing all the time

 Everything changes

1.Hunger was burning,

Feeding on concrete,

What used to taste good

Is now bitter sweet.

2.The sun shone golden,

But almost caused pain,

Coolness heals at times,

And shadow and rain.

3.Music is changing,

It used to scream loud,

Voices are smooth now

And make you feel proud.

4.Friendship is fluid,

It changes with age,

Let go or be dragged,

Grow up, turn the page.

5.The mind is shifting,

Expanding in depth,

And the more you know,

The less you accept.
