One minute I bath in moonlight,

Next thing I know I hate the night,

Don’t try to understand, alright?

 

One minute I feel so damn woke,

The next I think it’s a bad joke,

What do you take me for, my bloke?

 

I’m saddest when I go to work,

But even more so when I’m broke,

This life’s but a slippery slope!

 

I’m happy when among my friends,

But more so when the evening ends,

After all, everyone pretends.

 

I complicate all things easy,

No it’s not you, it’s me,

Don’t try to understand honey.

 

Oh yes, I am but a lost case,

Fallen way too far out of place,

But not completely out of grace.
