Dissonance
1.Is it really tragedy,
This darkness embracing me?
This cognitive dissonance
Is a God damn nuisance.
2.Is it all really that bad?
Or is it just in my head,
Things taken too seriously,
Or a harsh reality?
3.A flesh wound, or just a scratch,
Missing eye, or just a patch?
Everyone says I’m lucky,
All I feel is misery.
4.Only the passing of time
Can put an end to my mind,
This cognitive dissonance
Is my deepest nuisance.
