Hyperemotional

Losing it

1.All it takes is a bad day,
It can blow it all away,
Walk on water, swim in land,
Doing whatever’s at hand,
It shows all over my face,
What a mess, what a distaste,
Oh no…!

2.All it takes is a bad move,
To get into a new groove,
I’ll dance with knives in my hands,
They will hit, my soul will bend,
But I’ll keep swinging until
A bullet ends the free will,
Ain’t that so?

3.All it takes is a bad word,
If it hits a touchy chord,
All it takes is one small dart,
Bluntly tossed into my heart,
A mistake, although tiny,
Makes the sanest man crazy,
They fall low!

Why

Wonder

1.Don’t stroll in a red dress
In the hood at night,
Don’t go out drinking,
You might catch a fight,
Don’t smoke more cigars
Than you can buy,
It’s easy to mess up,
You just gotta try.

2.Don’t ever talk back,
Head deep in the sand,
Managers give life,
With them it can end.
Don’t show any tears,
Show a smile made of stone,
Layers of make-up
And no backbone.

3.How ‘bout not listening
To mass media,
And instead reading,
Building utopia?
How about learning
To cut out bad things
And gaining some time
To fulfill your dreams?

4.So much good advice,
Or bad, can you tell?
Some sends you to Heaven,
Some straight down to hell…
So much you can hear,
It can break or soothe,
Why is it so hard
To find out the truth?

Departure time

Like each time is the last time

1.Tomorrow I may find out
What it’s like
To miss someone that lingers;
Alone in an empty room,
I’ll find on my black coat,
A light-catching white whisker.

2.Tomorrow I may find out
I’m selfish
To make my mum cry like that;
Alone in an empty room,
I’ll find all that money,
And no time for mundane chat.

3.Tomorrow I may find out
Things unfinished,
I’ll sit on my bed and cry;
Alone in an empty room,
A photo shoot on my own,
If I act weird don’t ask why.

4.So this is why I do now
Everything,
Like each time is the last time;
Long walks, photo shoots, white whine,
Summer, swimming, neighbourhood,
Like each time is the last time.
