To the one who loves life

 Flowers

1.Flowers in my window,

Flowers in my hair,

A new wind is blowing,

Spring is in the air.

2.Grass tickles my heels now,

Everywhere I go;

Tell me what shoes are for,

I swear I don’t know.

3.No place to fit in and

Nothing I should wear,

Uncombed, loose, baggage free,

I fit everywhere.

4.A blade against my neck,

Fire in my eyes,

But they left me in peace,

Oh, what a surprise!

5.It is what it is now,

Not what could have been,

But it’s still so nice though,

Wind against my skin.

Trauma

 Time of self-preservation

1.Better safe than sorry,

Lonely than heartbroken,

With a bunch of plastic dolls

And a lot of words unspoken.

2.Better cold than dead,

With an empty head

And no wish to understand,

Only walk by and pretend.

3.I built my own prison

In the coldest season,

But you bet it’s cozy,

You can’t come, you’re nosy.

4.I don’t need a friend,

Can’t you see I’m spent?

And my best ability

Is to smile and nod, you see.

5.In another life

I won’t hold a knife,

But it’s too late for this one,

Damage is already done.

Material and unashamed

 Cut the crap

1.You may have whichever color,

Black, white, like the rest,

Mix and match, come up with new shades,

Diamonds are the best.

2.You may see all sorts of churches,

All gods are the same,

As long as what you are seeking

Is someone to blame.

3.You may want the perfect body,

With edges and shine,

Also buy a wall-sized mirror,

Everything is fine.

4.Mountains of gold are ok now,

If you keep it low

And don’t use them to crush people,

Don’t say it ain’t so.
