Job interviews

The Interview

1.Can’t stand stupid questions no more,
If I hear one, I’ll walk out that door!
Can’t stand insistent stairs no more,
In small rooms on the first building floor.

2.”Where will you be in 7 years’ time?”
With me it gets better and better, like wine;
“What would I think of you, were I your manager?”
Not much, since to them I’m just one more stranger.

3.”What animal would you be if you had the choice?”
A white deaf one, so I can’t hear your voice;
“What’s your favorite color, the hue of a winner?”
To cast back your face, I would be silver.

4.”What’s your best asset, the one that makes you true?”
Patience, for staying here and listening to you;
“And the worst flaw, which you want to overcome?”
The will of setting bombs and being quite done.

5.”What do you expect from a working place?”
Pay-day, but I’ll say I’d love to see your face;
“What would make you leave, the thing you can’t stand?”
You ask the same thing twice, let’s give it an end.

6.”Why would we chose you, you and no other?”
Because I don’t talk much, so I won’t be a bother;
“Why has your attitude become so defensive?”
How should it be, since yours is offensive?

7.I tried to learn all answers, to know them by heart,
My body betrays me, it looks like a dart!
Nothing is good, not a single thing I utter,
Without their money, I only watch dreams shatter.

Decay

Decade of decay

1.First, so scared of silence,
We turned on the tv,
And we weren’t mad to find out,
They don’t see you like you see me.

2.First it talked so nicely
About blue flags and stars
And how happy we would all be
If each had phones, accounts and cars.

3.First we sold our lands
To some total strangers,
Then complained about rent,
Which well being endangers.

4.First we cut their forests,
Then locked them in cages,
They died after we killed ourselves,
Commanded by dark mages.

5.First we were so cunning
And agile just like lynx,
Then became feeble enough
To spend nights before drinks.

Prisons everywhere

Just who the…

1.Just who the hell do you think you are,
When the rest of us are oceans far,
To you they are insects in a jar,
Fighting in an economic war?

2.Just what the hell are we talking about,
When the rest of us are shouting out loud,
Looking for jobs in poverty and pain,
Way too busy to even know your name.

3.Just what the hell are you thinking of,
When in fall you sell all the masks, paints and gloves,
But in real life we look to Someone above,
The only One who can give us some love.

4.Yes, you are all such wonderful people,
Who earn love, respect, to be deemed equal.
But no more than that, no, that is the truth,
In villages few know the innocence of youth.

5.Get a life girl, boy, or whatever,
Go to school, study, become clever;
Not that I would be so, but however,
I talk less and think more about weather.
